Quality of Live Stream
Southern Stream Live uses HD digital video cameras and digital wireless audio for the live stream and 4G LTE cellular service for internet. The quality of a viewers live stream is mainly dependent upon three (3) factors:
(1) The RSSI signal strength of the 4g cellular service from the tower at the live stream location (2) The weather onsite and at the viewers location and (3) The upload / download internet speed of the viewers device watching the live stream.
An upload and download speed of 10 mbps is recommended for remote viewing. To test speed on viewing device, open browser and go to https://speedtest.net
If there are issues with any one of these factors, viewers may experience buffering, drop-outs or low quality video resolution through no fault of Southern Stream Live.
The Live Stream Web Page is responsive in design and aims to make the embedded video player render well on cell phones and iPads. * Enabling fullscreen view mode on a laptop or PC will result in a low quality resolution. *
Southern Stream Live strives to deliver the highest quality live stream possible but we are not responsible for poor cellular service connections including extremely cloudy, foggy, cold or rainy weather conditions or low internet bandwidth of the cell towers on-site or on the viewers device, either cellular or wi-fi.
